Tulip's entry into cinema was serendipitous — she was discovered by legendary filmmaker Yash Chopra, at his son’s wedding, marking a striking debut as the lead heroine “Sanjana” in his film Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai, a successful Bollywood film that continues to air on television worldwide.
Recognised as a new face of glamour and depth, she went on to star in seventeen feature films across Hindi, Punjabi, and South Indian cinema.
