While filming for my movies, unknowingly I was searching for my Svadharma & delved into Vedic sciences in 2005. It was in Egypt when I experienced a kind of frenzy watching Sufi dancers spinning. They embody the essence of becoming one with the divine, offering a transcendental experience
Love, In Its Rawest Form: A Transcendental ExperienceCapturing the sky on a day filled with clouds, I was mesmerized by a beacon of light shining through the centre, where the sun's rays seeped through, inspiring me to merge this freeze-frame with a Sufi dancer I created who spins gracefully, gradually becoming one with the love he is calling out to, while she has already merged with the infinite skies:

The balance or union of male & female energies (Shivashakti) within us is the essence of the concept of Ardhanareshwara & is the aim of any aspiring yogi
Ardanareshwara depicts half of Shiva as male (Shiva) and the other half as female (Parvati), embodying both aspects in perfect harmony.The formless aspect of Shiva, "Nirgun Brahman," transcends specific form or gender, highlighting the unity beyond conventional dualities and recognizing a divine principle encompassing both masculine and feminine energies. This represents the ultimate reality
Why Vancouver is Special to Me
It is people that make a place for what it is. As for Vancouver, besides the unforgiving beauty of the landscape, I’ve met people here who think beyond gender embodying balance and self-awareness, creating a safe environment to express & shine fearlessly, (revealing why Khatsalano has so many aspiring yogis). This balance and self-awareness makes Vancouver a place of inspiration and connection.On a beautiful summer day, when all my stored sweet sweat seemed eager to join the Pacific Ocean, I paused to capture a photograph with my iPhone Days later, I blended this photo with an image I created with AI of ArdanareshwaraThe result is a vision of Ardanareshwara in the skies, extending from the mountains of Vancouver, overlooking the beautiful Pacific Ocean, where boats sail or rest in the harbor.I love Vancouver for this unique blend of nature, balance, and self-expression

The stunning Everchanging Tree
Meeting this tree when it bloomed with the most beautiful mapleleaves that whispered sweet melodies were some of the most blissful moments in my life… However, the insecurities about ending those melodies did not allow me to be present completely
As time moved on, those leaves wilted away, and the momentslived became memoriesI wish my laughter that summer was without any apprehension,without any fear… I should have been fearless…
Freezing the essence of this bare maple tree and merging it with a painting I created with metallic acrylic paints and some clay on a canvas that was 30x40 was so enjoyable especially as I got to relive those sweet moments which ruminate within me, making me smile more than I usually do each time I relive them!

The Eternal Coral Rock
Feeling creatively blocked and a bit frustrated, I almost tore apart one of my unfinished acrylic paintings on canvas
Seeking solace, I embarked on a long hike over the weekend, hoping to clear my mind
As I absorbed the sweet-smelling air, I started to feel like myself again. The negative ions from nature began to replenish my pranicenergy, bringing me a sense of peace. Smitten by the beauty around me, I began capturing a few scenes with my i-phone
Back at my Airbnb suite, I merged one of the photos I had taken with a photo of the frustrating unfinished acrylic painting oncanvas. I then touched up the colors through digital painting, creating a harmonious blend of nature and art
A chunk of paradise on this planet, of this universe, is French Beach on Vancouver Island. It is home to a dear friend, many otters, grey whales, seals, eagles, and other natural wonders, including this unique rock adorned with coralsThese corals live almost forever, & have made this rock their permanent homeThis observation inspired me to share a poem I wrote about our eternal existence: Shashwat We all are eternal I hear about freedom afterlife & the baggage of our previous lives I exist in this dimension I exist in these plane of thoughts I am … Right Here Right Now There is only one of you that ever will be The consciousness that lingers & stays on "is the unhappy tainted soldier who couldn’t pay his bills" He is stuck in the realm of thoughts that matches the frequency the thought he died in Nothing is born Nothing dies We all change forms We all are everlasting We are all eternal - Tulip Joshi
